Deleting an entry, a child or the account

What can be undone and what cannot - deleting entries, a child's profile with 7 days to restore it, and the account.

Updated October 9, 2026

An entry

Open the entry and tap Delete entry. Right after, the bar at the bottom offers Undo — also once the deletion has reached the server.

A medication dose or a temperature reading is deleted only after a confirmation and has no Undo; every caregiver sees it struck through on the timeline for 24 hours.

A child

More → Settings → Children, choose the child, Delete child. All entries, stats and schedules of this child disappear for every caregiver. You can restore them for 7 days in More → Settings → Children, section Deleted; after that the child's data is deleted for good. Before deleting, the app offers a copy of the child's data.

Withdraw consent (on the same screen) works differently: without the consent there is no basis for keeping the child's health data, so the profile and its entries are deleted at once, with no 7 days to restore. The family's other parents get a copy of the child's data by e-mail.

The account

More → Settings → Account → Delete account. Before the deletion we e-mail you a copy of your data (CSV, the link is valid for 30 days). Then:

Deleting the account does not stop a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play — the store keeps charging your account until you cancel the subscription in its settings. Do that before you delete the account.

If you sign in with Google or Apple and have no password, Delete account sends a link to your e-mail address instead. Open it within 60 minutes and confirm there — until then nothing is deleted. The link works on any device, so someone holding only your phone cannot delete the account. If you did not ask for it, ignore the e-mail and sign out unknown devices in Settings → Account → Devices. No e-mail after a few minutes? Check spam or ask again — a new link goes out after 5 minutes.

Before the deletion the app sends the entries still waiting on the phone. If one does not get through (offline, say), you see a warning and an offer to save a copy of the diary — deleting the account erases the diary from the phone. Entries your other devices have not sent yet are lost: open the app on them first.

An account nobody has signed in to for three years gets an e-mail warning; one still unused a year later is deleted the same way.

Without the app

You can delete the account without the phone app too:

What happens to the data is described above and in the Privacy Policy: payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, and deleted data leaves the encrypted backups within 60 days.
